The Duck Inn was an impromptu sidetrack from our original South African plan. The grounds have a country charm reminiscent of Midwest America. But this is Africa, so you do have wild monkeys rather than squirrels. The bed was very comfy, and the proprietors, Manfred and Ingrid, take friendliness to another level. It was a lovely visit.

The Duck Inn is like home away from home only better!! The rooms are spacious and the grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The birds and visiting monkeys are delightful. Ingrid and Manfred are wonderful and welcoming hosts and are willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay comfortable and fun.......

CHECK-IN

Duck Inn operates a payment before arrival policy either EFT or c/c details taken with booking confirmation

Reception is open from 7.00am - 9.30pm Mon - Sat, and 9am - 9.30pm Sun.

Guests are asked to check in between 3.00pm and 9.30pm on day of arrival and check-out no later than 11am on day of departure.

DUCK INN RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE CHECK-IN OUTSIDE OF THESE HOURS.

Guests who have made prior arrangements to arrive after 9.30pm will be shown their rooms by the late night receptionist staff

Cancellation Policy:

Deposits are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation, non arrival or curtailment of stay.

Duck Inn will seek full payment for any cancelled accommodation that cannot be re-let, including premature curtailment of stay and non arrival. If the reserved period is re-let, then a 10% administration/cancellation fee applies.

We do however know that business dates can be changed and do as far as possible try to accommodate such changes.

It is recommended that you take out travel insurance to cover any unforeseen incidents
